Farber concentrates in the areas of Intellectual property practice involving patents, trademarks, and copyrights; specializing in biotechnology patent prosecution and client counseling, and opinion work, in genetic engineering, assay devices, gene cloning, monoclonal antibodies, microarrays, biological and medical applications of nanotechnology, genomics, drug discovery and testing, small molecule chemistry with biotechnological applications, and protein and peptide chemistry. Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Farber’s legal experience included working as a patent attorney at both intellectual property firms and general practice firms in Los Angeles and San Diego.
