  •      Scott Lowry's practice covers all facets of intellectual property law, with a specific focus on patent and trademark prosecution. He has prosecuted patents before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for innovative companies and individuals of many different industries, such as medical devices, automotive, and technologies that utilize radio frequency identification (RFID). His practice also focuses on assisting clients with maintaining, protecting, and using intellectual property rights for maximum return on investment. Scott also has experience in navigating the law under the Bilski line of cases, which specifically affects the patentability of business method and software patents. He writes scholarly articles on the latest developments in intellectual property law and has been cited by the European Patent Organisation.

         Scott volunteers at Los Angeles area law schools as a judge for moot court competitions and is a Board Member for the University of Michigan alumni club in Los Angeles. He has served as a mentor to undergraduate and law students and was the Executive Editor of the Pierce Law Review in law school.
